PAIN MANAGEMENT
Pets experience pain too. Some signs of pain include decreased activity, reluctance to jump or climb stairs, decreased appetite, chewing or biting an area and decreased appetite. Many medical conditions, surgeries, and injuries can cause pain in animals. We give all our surgery patients pain medication pre and post op and recommend oral pain medications that owners can administer at home. There are a wide variety of pain medications that we can prescribe, administer, and dispense for your pet from non steroidal anti- inflammatories to opioids. |
